The purpose of the Center of Applied Research in Communication and Health (ARCHE), a department of the Institute of Communication and Health - is to answer concrete questions mostly asked by external clients, such as institutions, associations, partners in medical healthcare, using the methods of the social sciences and combining the know-how of experienced researchers in communication sciences and psychology from different parts of Switzerland, Germany and Italy. The ARCHE offers individually tailored full service studies including development of research instruments, data collection, analysis, presentation and interpretation, but also serves as a consultant to answer specific questions concerning health communication problems.
